Is a good night’s sleep important?
According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), chronic sleep deprivation leads to obesity, high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack and about 100,000 car accidents in the United States every year.Back pain
Allergies
Natura mattresses and pillows are downright hostile environments for the little critters because of the materials we use.
- Wool wicks away moisture, which allergens need to survive.
- Latex is 300% more resistant to dust-mites because of its natural ventilation cell structure.
- Plant-based poly foams are also ventilated so moisture never gets trapped.
When combined, wool, latex and/or plant-based foams soothe and comfort you, but slam the door on unwanted bed partners.
Arthritis and joint pain
Wool is a common denominator in almost everything we produce because it’s proven to reduce tossing and turning by as much as 75%. From there, choose the firmness that supports and cushions you the way you want.

Organic for your health
Natural latex
• Natural latex is naturally antimicrobial andhypoallergenic – 300% more resistant to
mattress breathes as moisture moves
Organic wool
• Wool is also antimicrobial – dust mites andother allergens are repelled by the lanolin
in wool.
Organic cotton
• Cotton absorbs moisture quickly and allows the latex and wool to process it away from your body and out of your bedding.
Organic for the earth
Buying organic is slowly transitioning from a luxury to readily available. But what does an organic really mean in terms of its impact on the environment?
- Wool – For every 4 lbs. of organically grown wool used by Natura, one acre of land is saved from pesticides and toxins for at least 4 years into the future. We use 8 lbs of wool in each Queen mattress.
- Latex – Natural latex is naturally biodegradable, which means your mattress can return to the earth when you’re done with it –instead of clogging up landfills for generations to come.
- Cotton – Conventional cotton accounts for 2% of the world's crops but more than 25 % of pesticides used. The chemical journey starts in the fields and progresses through processing and manufacturing.
Organic Info
There’s an awful lot of greenwashing going on just about everywhere right now but buying a product that’s certified organic from a third party source guarantees you’ll get what you pay for. Natura is committed to making it easier for you to get the information you need about what’s in your mattress, pillows or sheets.
